Testimony
It is my belief things happen for a reason. The last
four years have been very trying for me. There were times when I didn't
understand why the Lord let these diseases run rampant in my body. When
good things happen to us, it isn't because we deserve it, it's because
of God's grace. When bad things happen to us, it isn't because we
deserve it, either. It's all part of a larger plan.
These challenges have been a blessing to many, and especially to me.
They have brought me closer to the Lord. The ordeals I have gone
through, in the last four years, are proof that the Lord can deliver us
when the doctors say there is no hope.
After a time, I realized that if I asked myself why God let this
happen, I had to ask why God saved me.
It is my belief God saved me to tell others that faith can heal them. I
have met many people who when given bad news want to give up. I want to
tell them God loves them and wants to heal them.
Our lives have seasons. If we give up when it's winter, we will miss
the promise of our spring, the beauty of our summer, and the
fulfillment of our fall. We shouldn't let the pain of one season
destroy the joy of all the rest. We shouldn't judge life by one
difficult season.
Many people ask me what it's like to go through what
I've gone through. Nearly dying from appendicitis, peritonitis, renal
failure, a tongue tumor operation, a throat tumor operation and lung
cancer. It's hard to describe what it's like.

This Presentation
Below moved me to tears and it best describes how I feel. It hasn't
been five months for me.... it's been four years. I'm still pulling on
my talons and plucking out my feathers but if it's God's will.......
I'll fly again.

One
explanation of death
A sick man turned to his doctor as he was preparing to
Leave the examination room and said, 'Doctor, I am afraid to die.
Tell me what lies on the other side.' Very quietly, the
doctor said, 'I don't know.' 'You don't know? You, a Christian man, Do
not know what is on the other side? The doctor was holding the handle
of the door; On the other side came a sound of scratching and whining,
And as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him
with an eager show of gladness. Turning to the patient, the doctor
said, 'Did you notice my dog? He's never been in this room before. He
didn't know what was inside. He knew nothing except that his master was
here, And when the door opened, he sprang in without fear. I know
little of what is on the other side of death, But I do know one
thing... I know my Master is there and that is enough.
